Sometimes you may have to delete users from WordPress. To do this:
- Go to Pages from the backend of the WordPress website. Go to websiteurl/wp-admin.
- Check if any pages are created by the User you’re planning to delete. If there’s any, change the author.
- Go to Users
- Search up the specific user you are trying to delete. If the user has any post:
Two options:
– Change the Role of the User to “No role for this site”
– Delete User but make sure to attribute all contents to an active user.
If you want to get rid of a whole list of users, there is also the option to delete all of them at the same time. Just select the ones you want deleted, click on bulk actions and change it to delete. Once you’ve done so, hit the apply button and confirm the deletion.
