odh.byu.edu site couldn’t display embedded Google calendar especially applying to customized department theme.
Problem:
When go to calendar, the selected particular calendar won’t stay after you select it. For example, when you select “Office of Digital Humanities” calendar, it just won’t stay after your selection. Calendar option always goes to “ALL” option.
There are two possible reasons that cause this type of problem.
One is that you probably haven’t created any calendars under “calendar page”.
Note: go to calendar page, then there should have Google Calendar info. Make sure you have created at least a calendar.
The second reason is related to our ODH’s customized department theme.
Go to BYUH options and see if API key is empty.
Note: Tory was able to figure out missing API key can cause calendar issue.
If API key is missing, you probably need to talk to your supervisor or Tory to get the API key.
Once you provide AKI key, calendar should work again.
